Roots (Children age 2 year – 5th Grade)
Roots is over for this school year, but we will start back up in August.

Roots is a weekly program for children in Pre-K through 5th grade and is a complete and fun-filled program, grounded in Scripture and focused on Jesus Christ. Through life applications, children are brought to an understanding of salvation and are discipled in their walk with the Lord. Roots meets on Wednesday nights throughout the school year from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For more information, contact Pastor C.J. Dyas at 217-851-6449.
Trek (6th-8th Grade)
John 8:12 says, “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, ‘I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.’”
Trek is a Bible-based weekly youth gathering that focuses on helping junior high students move to a deeper level of their relationship with Christ and having that relationship impact every part of their life. It is designed to be a safe place for teens to grow spiritually and where they can learn about putting God first in all they do.
They meet on Wednesday Evenings from 6:15 – 7:30 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church

Journey (9th-12th Grade)
Ephesians 2:19-20 “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.”
Journey is a ministry for Senior High Students in grades 9-12. They meet weekly, focusing on building relationships in a safe environment, addressing issues they face daily, and most importantly encouraging them in their walk with Christ.
Journey meets on Wednesdays from 7:45 – 9:00 p.m. in the Sr. Teen room at the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
