Tenants rent the place where they live. RtA applies to most tenants who reside in: at the beginning of a lease, tenants and landlords must agree on who can reside in the rental premises. The names of all tenants should be included in the rental agreement. If a person not listed in the rental agreement resides in the rental premises, the lessor has the right to leave that person at least 14 days in advance. If the tenant has moved, the landlord can notify the unauthorized occupant at least 48 hours in advance. A landlord can inform the tenant at least 24 hours in advance to end the tenancy if the tenant: It is mandatory that landlords and tenants complete both a move-in report and a moving inspection report. A periodic lease agreement means that no end date is included in the residential lease agreement.
